14.09.11 - Thought I’d end the currently titled Photo blog (going to start a new photo blog called secondcityblog) with a similar picture to the one that I started with. This is a photo of Trafalgar Square on my last day at work in London. Similar kind of day actually! I took this photo when I was on my way into work with suitcase in hand and literally got on a train out of London after I finished at 5pm. Bye bye London
08.09.11 - Paralympics Day celebrations in Trafalgar Square. Spot the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, Seb Coe, Boris Johnson and the very subtle security guard in the third photo.
13.06.2011 - the National Gallery has created a living wall outside to disguise some scafolding. It’s Van Gogh’s ‘A Wheatfield with Cypresses’ http://www.nationalgallery.org.uk/van-gogh-painting-brought-to-life-as-living-wall I might take some more photos as it grows.
13.06.2011 - Diabetes sculpture, the mannequin limbs representing limbs lost from the disease. I saw this on the way to work this morning but by lunchtime it was gone. The BBC has a picture of the artist Robert Bradford doing the finishing touches here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-13749263
